Yesterday (Sunday, 20 June) saw people around the globe celebrate their dad aka old man aka papa aka pop.

Among those to mark Father's Day were a number of celebrities and A-listers.

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart was among those to make tribute to the holiday.

His most recent movie 'Fatherhood', was released on Netflix in a rather timely fashion last weekend.

Sharing a picture of his family on Instagram, Hart wrote: "God is good....Happy Father's Day fellas. Go watch Fatherhood on @netflix #Harts ..... P.S The level of love that I have for these kids is honestly unexplainable."

Kate Hudson shared a lovely picture of her hanging out with her father, fellow actor Kurt Russell.

"Dependable authentic captain," she wrote. "Our wild, sometimes untamed adventurer father! Demi Moore shared a picture of Bruce Willis with their children for Father's Day.

Jason Momoa shared a heartfelt video message, and rock star Keith Richard posted a throwback pic of him with his late father Bert on an airplane in 1990.

The late Steve Irwin's children, Bindi and Robert, also shared throwback pictures of their beloved father.
