Recent months brought the news that there is a sequel to Tim Burton's 1988 classic 'Beetlejuice' on the way.

The news was met with a mixed reaction from fans, some of whom argued that the original with Michael Keaton does not require another chapter.

Winona Ryder will reprise her role as Lydia Deetz, while 'Wednesday' star Jenna Ortega will play her daughter. Justin Theroux will also feature in the film, which will be directed by Burton and will crucially feature Keaton as the 'bio-exorcist' ghost.

With filming already underway in Vermont, it seems that some of the locals have been helping themselves to some film memorabilia - as local police reported that two props had been stolen from the set.

One of them will be familiar to fans, as it is the sculpture that Catherine O'Hara was trapped in in the original film. The other is a "lamppost topped with a pumpkin decoration."

The film is set for release next year.
