Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first Netflix series has been given the go-ahead at the streamer.
'Heart of Invictus' will be the name attached to the first title created by Archewell Productions, meaning that the former active Royal Family members are steaming ahead with their current Netflix deal.
The multiple-episode docuseries will be about the Invictus Games. The international multi-sport event has taken place during four out of the past seven years, and sees wounded and injured armed services personnel and veterans take part to compete for their own "I Am" medal.
Due to everything on hold last year, the 2020 games are due to take place in The Netherlands in 2022. Australia hosted the fourth edition of the games, which was the last time they took place, in 2018.
According to Deadline, the Netflix series will follow a group of competitors from around the globe, who will be competing in the fifth official Invictus Games in The Hague. Prince Harry, who is a former British Army member, helped launch the event in 2014.
'Heart of Invictus' will mark Harry and Meghan's first official production, following their deal with the streaming platform six months ago. Harry will act as executive producer and will appear on camera, with Orlando von Einsiedel of Acadamy Award-winning Netflix short 'The White Helmets' will direct.
