All the Marvel series so far - 'Wandavision', 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' and 'Loki' - have put the spotlight on secondary characters of the MCU to great success. Now that 'Black Widow' has had her own movie, it's time for her partner in crime and close friend Hawkeye to get a solo outing.

The next Marvel show that will be streaming on Disney Plus is 'What If..?' which imagines alternative paths for the universe's characters.

The series begins streaming August and Marvel’s Vice President of film production, Victoria Alonso, confirmed to Variety that both 'Hawkeye' and 'Ms. Marvel' will also premiere before the end of this year.

Alonso indicated that there will be “a few other shows” in addition to these two in the pipeline.

She also said there will be more animated series aside from 'What If..?' coming your way.

Speaking of catering to fans, Alonso noted: "I think it’s important to consistently listen to what fans are saying.

"If there’s a vast majority that feels that something is not hitting home, then we need to look at it, but then there’s times where we say, ‘You know what, this is a story we’re gonna tell.'"

'Hawkeye' sees the return of Jeremy Renner in the role of Clint Barton.

He's joined by Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, who becomes his protégé.

They're joined by Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, who was introduced in 'Black Widow'.

It was indicated at the end of the Scarlett Johansson starrer that she'll be seeking revenge for her "sister"'s death.

'Ms. Marvel', meanwhile, will serve as the debut for Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) in the titular role.

It has ties to the Brie Larson-led 'Captain Marvel' franchise and will feed into movie sequel 'The Marvels'.
