Tim Burton is back with his brand new Netflix series based on Addams Family favourite Wednesday.

In the full trailer we got to see the full spectacle on show and it looks like we're really in for a spooky treat with this one.

The logline for the series describes it as a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday's attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

The titular role is played by Jenna Ortega ('Scream 5'). Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and Isaac Ordonez will play Wednesday's kooky family Morticia, Gomez and Pugsly. Gwendoline Christie ('Game of Thrones' and 'The Sandman') also joins the cast as Principal Larissa Weems.

The full trailer also showed us the return of the original Wednesday Addams from the popular '90s films, Christina Ricci. The 42-year-old will play a teacher at Nevermore in the upcoming series.

However, the biggest surprise of the brand new trailer was the reveal of Uncle Fester, played by Fred Armisen. The casting of the role was kept under wraps until this weekend. Armisen, famed for his time on SNL and his Emmy awarding-winning series 'Portlandia', takes over the role from Christopher Lloyd.
