What happened to the 'Schitt's Creek' star after finishing up her time as Alexis Rose? She went on to be a wife who has had enough of her husband's sh*t.

In a world where Alexis Rose and her hit song 'A Little Bit Alexis' can easily get stuck in your head (you're welcome), it just goes to show how much of an impact Canadian actor Annie Murphy has made on all of us 'Schitt's Creek' fans. Thankfully, her next series, 'Kevin Can F**k Himself', looks just as intriguing as you would hope.

The first two episodes of the dark comedy starring the Emmy Award-winning actor launched to critical and fan acclaim last week over in the States on AMC. Irish fans won't have to wait too much longer until the eight-episode series hits our shores, as Amazon Prime has picked it up for an August launch date.

'Kevin Can F**K Himself' follows the story of Allison McRoberts (Murphy), a woman we all grew up believing we knew: the prototypical "sitcom wife". However, Allison begins to wake up to the fact that her husband is - to put it mildly - a pig, and that this isn't the life that she really wanted. Sending her down a path of self-discovery and new experiences, the series breaks convention and blends multi-camera comedy with single-camera realism - not too far off what we saw on 'WandaVision' in the earlier episodes.

Alongside Annie Murphy, the series also stars Mary Hollis Inboden ('The Real O’Neals'); Eric Petersen ('Kirstie'); Alex Bonifer ('Superstore'); Brian Howe ('Chicago Fire'); and Raymond Lee ('Here and Now'). The series was created by Valerie Armstrong, with Rashida Jones, Craig DiGregorio and Will McCormack as executive producers.

Here's the trailer.

'Kevin Can F**k Himself' will premiere on Amazon Prime Friday, August 27.
