The beginning of every December is usually marked by a contingent of music fans descending on the Co. Kerry town of Dingle for a few days of music and mayhem.

Of course, it's not possible to hold Other Voices in the traditional sense this year - but nevertheless, the online version of the mini-festival is already a hit with fans.

After hosting 'Courage' gigs in various venues across Ireland throughout the year, Other Voices: Bringing It All Back Home kicked off last night with performances from Hozier with the Crash Ensemble in St. James's Church, as well as rising star Cmat, SON (Susan O'Neill) with Mick Flannery, and Damien Dempsey. There was also archive footage from The Gloaming and it was generally a beautiful couple of hours of music. And best of all, it's completely free.

It runs until December 6th and continues tonight from 7pm with sets from Ailbhe Reddy, Nealo, Niamh Regan and Cinder Well. Watch here.

If you missed last night's performance, you can watch it here now, while the schedule from Friday - Sunday (and the reaction to last night) can be seen below.
