They may have spent the first year of their existence being known by most people as 'the band formerly known as Little Green Cars', but it's safe to say that Soda Blonde have firmly established their new identity and sound thanks to a clutch of killer singles.

And if you were a fan of songs like 'Swimming Through the Night' and 'Terrible Hands', there's good news: the Dublin band will release their debut album 'Small Talk' on July 9th.

The title track is released as a single today, and the band have also announced details of an Irish and UK tour this August and September (full dates below).

The album, says frontwoman Faye O'Rourke, "Is about life in our 20s. Every part of us is in here, both subliminally and literally. Lyrically, this record is like a collection of my flaws and insecurities. They’re lingering awkwardly by the bar at a crowded social gathering, waiting to integrate with the wider world”.
