Sam Smith may have disappointed fans who were eagerly anticipating their new album, but although it's been postponed, a new single has been released.
The Londoner has teamed up with Demi Lovato on a new song called 'I'm Ready', which will be released on their third album later this year.
The pair struck up a friendship after Lovato covered Smith's song 'Too Good at Goodbyes' in the BBC Live Lounge.
The lyrics to the song include "It's a cold night in my bed in the heat of the summer / I've been waiting patiently for a beautiful lover/ He's not a cheater, a believer/ He's a warm warm-blooded achiever". The video, meanwhile, runs with that 'achiever' theme as Smith and Lovato compete in various Olympic events. Valentina and Gigi Goode from Season 12 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' also feature.
