The countdown is on and with only days to go until tickets for One Directions THIRD AND FINAL Croke Park date on Friday 23rd May 2014 go on sale this Saturday at 10am we would like to point out some FAQs for fans purchasing tickets. The worlds biggest boy band have already SOLD OUT two nights at the stadium as well as a host of dates around the world on their Where We Are Tour 2014.

Buying my Ticket

Q: What tickets are available to buy?
A: Tickets will be available in the following areas:

PITCH STANDING (INDIGO, PINK, PURPLE, ORANGE and GREY ZONES)

Q: How much are the tickets?
A: Standing tickets cost €59.50 and seats prices range from €59.50 to €84.50.

Q: Is there a booking fee?
A: Yes, all booking fees will be clearly displayed on the website before you purchase a ticket.

Q. Can I purchase tickets before this Saturday?
A. Unfortunately there is NO PRESALE on One Direction tickets. Tickets go on-sale on Sat 25th May 2013 at 10am on the Ticketmaster website:

Q: Where can I buy tickets?

Q: How many tickets can I buy?
A: 8 per person. No group bookings are possible on this event.

Q: I've seen tickets advertised on other sites - can I still order from there?
A: We would strongly advise against using any sites other than www.ticketmaster.ie who is the authorised seller of tickets for this event. Purchasing on Ticketmaster.ie is the only way you can be guaranteed that you have purchased 100% genuine tickets. Consider the notes below before purchasing your tickets:

Age Restriction

Q: Are there any age restriction?
A: In the interest of safety Under 14's will not be allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied.

All under 16's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian attending the event

No queuing will be permitted prior to gates opening.

Q: How many children under 16 can I accompany?
A: One adult can accompany up to 4 children, however this is a matter you should pay careful attention to, depending on the age and needs of the children involved.

Q: Pitch standing is only available to people aged 14 and over. Is that at the time of the concert or when I buy my ticket?
A: It is at the time of the concert. So if you are 13 when the concert is announced and you will be 14 when the concert happens you can buy a standing ticket.

Q: Can I bring my one year old baby without a ticket?
A: The Promoter deems that large stadium concerts are not suitable environments for all small children under 5 years old. This being so, we have no measures in place to facilitate babies or small children on site. It is important to note that high noise levels can damage your child's hearing. Should you still choose to bring young children or babies please note all small children over 2 years old will require a ticket and you will be requested to sign a consent form before entering the venue.

Q: I am a wheelchair user and would like to attend. Will there be a designated area for wheelchair users at the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a there will be a purpose built raised wheelchair platform on the pitch for this event. Please contact Ticketmaster Special needs Hotline on 0818 903001 to make a wheelchair booking.

Q: I am not in a wheelchair but have accessible needs and would like to attend. Will there be a designated area for customers with accessible needs at the concert?
A: Yes, there will have a designated Wheelchair Viewing area and accessible facilities for your use. These seats will be located in the Cusack Stand and have been confirmed as the most accessible to lifts, toilets etc. Please contact Ticketmaster Special needs Hotline on 0818 903001 to make an accessible seated booking.

Q: My circumstances have changed since I purchased my ticket and I am now a wheelchair user. What should I do?
A: Please contact Ticketmaster Customer Services. Please note that there is a fixed capacity for the Wheelchair areas and there is nothing we can do if this has sold out.

Stadium Facilities

Q: Will I be able to purchase food and drink in the stadium during the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy. Alcohol will be available at some bars for adults aged 18 and over to buy, however you will be required to provide photo identification as proof of age

Q: Can I purchase official One Direction merchandise at the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a number of merchandise outlets located around the venue. We would advise against purchasing any unofficial merchandise outside the stadium.

Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Stadium?
A: No. If any customers suffer from a condition that may require specific dietary requirements, please contact the venue prior to arrival to ensure there are no problems bringing those products in as otherwise they will be confiscated on entry.

Q: Will there be drinking water available?
A: Yes, drinking water fountains will be available at various points around the stadium.

Q: What if I or one of my guests feel unwell or have an accident?
A: The stadium will have trained medical staff on duty, please approach a steward who will direct you to the nearest first aid/medic point

Q: Is the stadium a non-smoking venue?
A: Yes, smoking is not permitted the venue

Q: My child has an illness; will there be facilities to keep his/her medicine?
A: No, this would need to be kept on the person at all times.

Q: Will there be a lost and found area?
A: There will be several meeting points around the stadium designated by signs reading 'meeting point'. Please speak to your nearest steward who will assist.

Q: Where are the First aid areas?
A: There will be a First Aid area located on every level of the stadium (including the pitch). These will be clearly signposted and all stewards will be able to direct patrons to the nearest medical staff

Q: How will I get up to date information in the days leading up to the concert
A: All customers will be contacted by email with a concert information email prior to the event. You can also get up to date information from the following websites:

Q: Will there be any facility for me/my child to queue early at the venue?
A: Early Queuing is not permitted at the venue.

Q: What happens if it rains, can I bring an umbrella?
A: Unfortunately, umbrellas are on the prohibited items list so are not permitted in the stadium. In the event of adverse weather conditions we would advise bringing a rain mac or disposable rain coat.

Prohibited Items:

Any article that might be used as a weapon, any person deemed to be offensive or abusive, or who may compromise public safety, will be reported to the police. Flag poles and flares. Bottles, glass vessels, cans, flasks. Frisbees and similar items, dangerous or hazardous items, illegal substances, scooters, skateboards or other skates. Laser devices, prams / push chairs, inflatable and folding chairs, professional cameras & recording devices (This applies to cameras that have detachable lenses), large suitcases, lap tops, illegal merchandise items, umbrellas, hampers and cold boxes, air horns, alcohol and animals (except service dogs & guide dogs).

Q: Where will the stage be within the Stadium?
A: Please refer to the map, located here. The main stage will be at one end of the stadium with a B stage in the middle of the pitch.

Q: I have a standing ticket, can I stand anywhere on the pitch?
A: The floor will be split into 5 zones. Customers will be allocated a wristband to access a particular zone. Zone allocation will be at the time of ticket purchase and location will be venue dependent. PATRONS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO MOVE BETWEEN ZONES

Q: I am pregnant and have a standing ticket, will I be able to have a seat?
A: Please contact the Ticketmaster Special needs Hotline on 0818 903001 prior to arriving to find out if there are seats still available and if it is possible to relocate. All reserved seating may be sold out.

Q: My circumstances have changed since I purchased my ticket and I am now pregnant, what should I do?
A: Whilst agents may try to exchange your ticket for a seated area, please note this may not be possible if all reserved seating has sold out. Please contact the Ticketmaster Special needs Hotline on 0818 903001 prior to arriving to find out if there are seats still available and if it's possible to relocate.

Q: Where can I drop off and pick up my child from?
A: All Under 16s are to be accompanied by Parent or Guardian.

Q: Will my child be safe on his/her own?
A: Any child aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Standing tickets only available to persons aged 14 and over. No under 16s will be allowed on the pitch unless accompanied by an adult. All under 16's to be accompanied by parent or guardian.

Q: Who are the support acts for One Direction?
A: Support acts are still to be confirmed, please check back for updates

Q: Can I take photographs at the concert?
A: Yes, small digital cameras are permitted. Please note that any camera with a long or detachable lens will be classified as a professional camera and these are not permitted. Video cameras are also prohibited. Please see terms and conditions when purchasing your tickets

Q: Can I bring posters/banners to the concert
A: Flag poles or sticks for banners are prohibited. Only small banners (A4 or A3 size) will be permitted into the event as anything larger can obstruct the views of other customers.

Transport

Q: Will there be parking available on the day of the concert at the Stadium for the public?
A: Croke Park Stadium is situated in a residential area that has limited parking. Local residents have the right to expect priority on this parking.
Patrons and visitors are encouraged to use public transport options - Bus, Rail, DART and LUAS - which all bring you to within 15 minutes walk, or less, from the stadium.Limited street parking is available. The nearest multi storey car park is in the City Centre. There will be no parking available in the areas in the immediate vicinity around the Stadium of Light as the roads will be closed around the stadium to ensure the area is safe for concert goers.

There is no parking for disabled patrons in Croke Park itself. There is ample parking in Clonliffe car park in a reserved area for disabled patrons. Entry is off Drumcondra Road and the charge is €10. There is limited parking for disabled patrons in O'Connell Schools which is on a first come first served basis. To allow vehicles past the Garda cordons on the day of the concert for 'drop offs', patrons must contact Fitzgibbon Street Garda Station directly. Email address for this is [email protected]. Please note that the entrance for wheelchair users on public level is through the A2 gate at the Cusack Stand turnstiles.
