Thousands have been left disappointed after the pop sensation's concerts in Cork and Dublin sold out rapidly this morning.

The 18 year-old is nominated for seven Grammys this year. Amongst them are Album Of The Year for 'Sour' and Song Of The Year for 'Drivers Licence'.

Her 'Sour' tour will also take her to the 02 in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester. She'll follow up with two nights in the Eventim Apollo in London.

Rodrigo announced just this week that she will play at The Marquee in Cork and Fairview Park in Dublin. But now people are questioning why the global superstar isn't playing bigger venues to keep up with the demand for tickets.

At one point, almost 40,000 people were in the queue to purchase tickets on Ticketmaster, with Fairview Park only holding around 5,000.

Tickets were snapped up within 10 minutes of going on sale this morning, leaving a lot of disappointed fans and parents. Some were up since the crack of dawn in hopes of getting ahead of the queue.

All we can do is hope she'll announce another Irish date at some point. The demand is clearly there.
