Unquestionably the biggest success story in music in 2021, pop music's newest megastar Olivia Rodrigo has announced two Irish tour dates for June 2022.

The 'Drivers Licence and 'Good 4 U' star will play Dublin's Fairview Park and Cork's Marquee on June 29th and 30th next summer.

Up for 7 Grammys this year, including Album Of The Year for 'Sour' and Song Of The Year for 'Drivers Licence, 2021 has been a whirlwind year for Rodrigo, with streaming and chart records around the world bowing before the 18-year-old.

Rodrigo will hit Irish shores next summer in support of her 'Sour' tour, with the singer also taking in arena shows in the UK, France and Germany in promotion of her 'Sour', which was revealed to be 2021's most-streamed album on Spotify.

Rodrigo shot to fame as a cast member of the Disney+ show 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' before shooting to global fame in early 2021.

Rodrigo is only behind Ed Sheeran for most weeks at number one in Ireland this year, with the Californian singer lodging an impressive 15 weeks at number one in the Irish Singles Charts.

Tickets for her Irish shows will go on sale this Friday at 10am with Baby Queen serving as the support act at the Cork show.
