The Spice Girls have been suggested as potentials for the famous 'Sunday afternoon legends' slot at Glastonbury, which has traditionally been given to long-established acts including Kylie Minogue, Dolly Parton, ELO and Paul Simon.

When she was quizzed about it on ITV's 'Lorraine', she admitted that it would be 'the dream' and that 'we’d love to do it'.

And for whether Beckham would join them, she said: "Between you and I, I know Mrs Beckham would love to do Glastonbury.

“It’s been rumoured a lot but we do constantly talk about getting back on stage because the shows in 2019 were incredible. We’d love to do it again – once the world allows. When we did the stadium shows in 2019, we were blown away by how much love there is for the Spice Girls and how it did affect a huge amount of people, a young generation, so positively.”

The pop group - who celebrate the 25th release of their debut single 'Wannabe' this year - had been rumoured to take their reunion tour global, but Covid scuppered that prospect. Glastonbury 2022, though? It might yet happen...
