Lorde's 'Solar Power' tour has officially begun and it's the best thing since her onion ring review Instagram page.

After the four-year-long wait for Lorde's highly-anticipated return to the music scene combined with a p******c that meant you couldn't hug your mother let alone attend a concert with thousands of sweaty, dancing, fellow Lorde fans, the 2022 'Solar Power' tour means a lot to her supporters.

Emerging with baby yellow moonbeams lighting her up on the stage as she sings 'Leader of a New Regime', we're immediately in that very floaty signature 'Solar Power' state that blurs the lines between where a lullaby ends and dreams begin.

One minute the crowd was bopping with her to crackers like 'Homemade Dynamite'. The next they were swaying with her through tender songs like 'Stoned At The Nail Salon' after she asks "are you ready to cry?".

Belting the classics including 'Ribs', 'Team', and even 'the Louvre', have unsurprisingly led her to Twitter's 'trending' list, where attendees are posting video clips of their favourites. And it's pretty emotional.

According to the setlist posted on Rolling Stone, she made her way through a decent amount of the other tracks on 'Melodrama' and 'Pure Heroine' including 'Buzzcut season', 'Hard Feelings', 'Loveless', 'Liability', 'Sober', 'Supercut', 'Perfect Places', 'Green Light', and 'Royals'.

And don't worry — being on your phone at her concert doesn't piss her off. She says she thinks capturing these kinds of memories is one of the best things that you can do with a phone. Hot take?

Have you got your tickets for the Irish gig? It's going to be class. If you can't make it, don't worry, someone uploaded the whole opening night to Youtube — they really are doing the Lorde's work.
