Performing on a reflective disc on top of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, this has got summer vibes radiating all over it.

Lorde and her new track 'Solar Power' was blasted over New York City last night during her appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'.

Hitting our ears a few weeks ago, and giving fans a very different side to the 24-year-old's previous releases, Lorde and her 'Solar Power' single could be the feel-good and chill song of summer 2021. The accompanying music video for the song placed her on a beach, but this time around for her first live performance of the track, she's swapping the sand and the sea for some cityscapes instead.

The Kiwi singer made full use of the time of the year, heading out onto the rooftops and catching the last few minutes of sunlight while performing the title track of her forthcoming third album.

The two-time Grammy-winning pop star hadn't released new music since 2017's sophomore album 'Melodrama'.

2021 is a year many fans of big pop stars have been waiting for, mostly because it means they might finally get some new material from artists who haven't released any new music for quite some time. While Lorde is on this list, eager music fans have also been waiting rather impatiently for Rihanna and Adele to bring out some new tunes.

Here's the performance.

Lorde and her new album 'Solar Power' comes out on August 20.
