Releasing an album while the world remains in the grip of a pandemic can't be easy - not least because there are fewer opportunities to go out and celebrate it.
However, Lorde has found a good workaround by combining a session with a promo opportunity.
The Kiwi pop star, who releases her third album 'Solar Power' next month, was the first guest on Seth Myers' newly-revived 'Day Drinking' segment - which has not been running because of Covid.
The pair hit New York bar Zero Bond, where Myers began by making some cocktails - but it wasn't long before the situation devolved into drinking games with a forfeit of taking a shot.
Needless to say, before long the pair were well and truly mouldy drunk. Which was quite entertaining for viewers, all told.
