Dave Grohl is one talented dude, right? Not content with being in TWO of the world's most successful rock bands, the drummer-turned-singer has now turned his attention to filmmaking and has put together a documentary about the famous Sound City recording studios in Los Angeles.

The film has been garnering some pretty positive feedback ("an exhilarating exploration of the creative process", "high-spirited, detailed and funny") and will hit Irish cinemas shortly.

Meanwhile, wrap your ears around the below stream of the movies's pretty impressive soundtrack. You can pre-order the soundtrack right here, too.
