A few weeks back, the shortlist for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year was revealed.

Fontaines DC, Pillow Queens, Roisin Murphy and more featured amongst the ten names on that list - and some of them have also cropped up on the shortlist for the Irish Song of the Year award, too.

The Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year 2020 was revealed yesterday afternoon, and ten acts will go toe-to-toe to claim the prize.

Unlike the album award, which is selected by a judging panel, the Song of the Year award is done via public vote. You can vote once a day via this link and voting closes at midnight on Sunday, February 28th.

Dermot Kennedy, Niall Horan, Gavin James and Picture This feature on the shortlist of ten, alongside the likes of Denise Chaila, Fontaines DC, Jafaris and Gemma Dunleavy.
