Now that the debate over the colour of her runners has finally been settled (or at least forgotten about), Billie Eilish can get back to the important stuff - like releasing music.

The 18-year-old pop star will release her third single of the year this  Thursday.

It's called 'Therefore I Am' and follows on from 'my future', which was released in July, as well as her Bond theme 'No Time to Die', which came out in February.

She broke the news of the new single on social media, although there's no snippet or teaser just yet.

Irish fans can expect to hear it at 6pm GMT on Thursday.

Having recently urged her fans to get out and vote, she also posted a celebratory video on Sunday expressing her delight that Joe Biden had beaten Donald Trump in the US election. She had previously slammed Trump, saying "We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID, not deny them. Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality."
