Dublin rock legends Aslan have announced their much hoped for return to the stage with a show in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Saturday, May 31st.
The band's last gig was on February 16th last year - the same month that lead singer Christy Dignam was diagnosed with cancer. Although the band say they thought it would never happen, Christy is now feeling strong enough to take the first steps back to live gigging.
Their choice to play The Olympia was a natural one. Describing it as their 'spiritual home' where they have played so many successful gigs before, it is the venue they feel most comfortable in and the perfect place to begin their much anticipated return.
As well as the live show, the band are releasing a new single I Need a Little Time and will perform on the Late Late Show the week before the show on May 23rd.
Tickets for ASLAN at the Olympia Theatre go on sale on Friday, March 28th, are priced €33.50 and are available from usual outlets.
