Adele has always been exceptionally private when it comes to her personal life.

The 'Hello' singer understandably goes to great lengths to protect the privacy of her 7-year-old son Angelo. It even took quite a while to confirm that she had married her long-term partner Simon Konecki, given that she never revealed any details.

Following her separation from Konecki in April, however, it seems that her romantic endeavours are tabloid fodder once again.

The Sun reports that she and grime artist Skepta - who hail from the same part of London, Tottenham, and have been friends for several years - have been on 'a number of dates' and that she celebrated his 37th birthday at The Crystal Maze Experience a few weeks ago.

They quote a source as saying: "Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up. They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection.

“They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day.”

They added: "They are both private about their love lives and they are both committed to their children first and foremost as well."

Neither artist have commented on the rumours. Adele - who filed for divorce last month - has kept a relatively low profile since the end of her mammoth '25' tour. Skepta, who won the Mercury Prize for his 2016 album 'Konichiwa', released his latest album 'Ignorance is Bliss' this year.
