Well, this is disappointing if true.
Firstly, it never fails to astound us how Chris Brown has managed to maintain a fanbase and a career, considering, y'know, he is best known for brutally beating up his ex-girlfriend (who happened to be Rihanna), and showing no remorse for it.
And considering she is all about female empowerment, you might imagine that Adele had better judgement about the company she keeps - but a report in the Mirror suggests that she has been partying with r&b star Brown at her London home.
Brown and friends were spotted entering Adele's home in the middle of the night at the weekend, and not emerging until the early hours.
A source said: “It was all a bit cloak and dagger. He arrived in the middle of the night and didn’t leave until around 2am. He arrived in huge, blacked-out cars, with plenty of muscle surrounding him.”
They are believed to have first met at the 2013 Grammys, with Adele spotted in a heated exchange with Brown after he was beaten to an award by Frank Ocean, refusing to join the standing ovation for him.
Adele - who is rumoured to be dating rapper Skepta - recently found herself accused of cultural appropriation after a social media post to celebrate the Notting Hill carnival.
