We'd love to know how it felt for the waiting staff to serve these four movie icons what we hope were their second breakfasts of the day.

All four main Hobbits from 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy had a reunion over the weekend, and to say that it fills us with nostalgic joy is an understatement.

Yep, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd all came together for a cute meet-up, presumedly to talk about all things to do with being under four foot tall and having seriously hairy feet.

Here are the four former Hobbitses having their Hobbits reunion in all of their fine dining glory. We'd love to know what it was like to be the person waiting on this table of talent.

The four all started working together as little-known actors back in 1999, when back-to-back filming of all three 'LOTR' releases began in New Zealand. Since then, all four have gone on to have minor to major success in the film industry, Wood remaining the most recognisable face of the quartet, following on from his main role as Frodo Baggins.

Having struck up a close relationship while on set of the Peter Jackson movies, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd launched a 'Lord of the Rings' podcast in 2021, which looks back at the famed trilogy and features a number of special guests who give their own input on the franchise (they've also eaten some Tayto's Skips on the show, for some reason).

'The Friendship Onion' is a podcast and YouTube series that has featured both Elijah Wood and Sean Astin, but at different times. The four have joined forces once again for a guest panel of the podcast for MegaCon Orlando, a fan culture event that took place over the weekend.

In other 'LOTR' news, Prime Video is preparing to launch their fresh interpretation of the J.R.R. Tolkein-penned series of novels. 'The Rings of Power' begins this September and will be set thousands of years before 'The Hobbit', initially revolving around the creation of the 19 magical rings by Sauron.
