Given how 'Halloween' seemed to end on quite a final note, it'll be interesting to see how 'Halloween Kills' is able to push it on for another two sequels.

The first footage of 'Halloween Kills' landed online last night from Jamie Lee Curtis' Instagram account, with some very brief glimpses of behind-the-scenes footage from the movie. Granted, it's a long way off being ready - the movie doesn't arrive until October 16th, 2020 - but there's a lot to take in here.

Obviously, Curtis is back as Laurie Strode, as is Judy Greer as Karen, Laurie's daughter, and Andi Matichak as Allyson, Karen's daughter and Laurie's granddaughter. There's also a look at Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle. In the 1978 movie, the character of Tommy Doyle was one of two kids that Laurie Strode babysat on the night Michael Myers tried to kill her.

Interestingly enough, that character was already in the franchise - 'Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers' - and was played by none other than the ageless Paul Rudd, in what was his first starring role. Less said about that particular movie though, the better as it's complete pants.

The 2018 reboot of 'Halloween', however, was pretty great so here's hoping for 'Halloween Kills'.

Here's the footage.
