Don't worry, we're not watching Harry and Hermione high tail it up the aisle for a shotgun wedding, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson just so happen to have some movie news on the same day. It's great to hear from the pair less than two weeks after we discovered that their old pal Rupert Grint is heading off to do a bit of telly!

Ladies first, and the latest on Miss Watson is that she's in talks to take on the role of Cinderella in Kenneth Brannagh's upcoming live adaptation for Disney. What about our Saoirse though? I hear you cry. Well, we don't know what the story is there lads, because Variety are saying Emma's now the one to watch and has just opened negotiations. Last time we saw her collaborate with Kenneth he was playing the rather enjoyable Gilderoy Lockhart in Chamber of Secrets: Could we looking at another magical pairing?

While Emma's off hunting for that glass slipper, Daniel Radcliffe's in hot pursuit of a rather different role.  Variety seem to have their eye on the Potter stars, and are reporting that he's in talks to take on the iconic role of Igor in 20th Century Fox's brand new adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. From Harry Potter to the Woman In Black to this gothic tale, seems Radcliffe is eager to prove he's far more than just a boy wizard. And rumour has it that production on Frankenstein could be delayed to let him finish his West End run of 'Cripple of Inishmaan' this summer.

So there you have it, seems there is cinematic life after Harry Potter after all lads!
