The PlayStation 5 line of controllers will receive a facelift in early 2022.
New DualSense wireless controller colours will launch in January, with new PS5 console covers launching later in 2022.
Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple will be the latest controller colours on offer, adding to the existing Cosmic Red and Midnight Black controllers available for the console.
The collection of controllers are referred to as the "Galaxy Collection" of controllers.
PS5 owners can also avail of console covers to compliment their new controllers, with console covers launching later in 2022 per Sony.
The exact launch dates for both the new DualSense wireless controller colours and the new PS5 console covers in select regions may vary by location, and while Ireland is not specified on Sony's list, the UK are marked down as a participating country, as are other European nations such as France, Germany, Spain and Italy, meaning controllers will be fairly readily for Irish gamers at launch.
The controllers will be available directly from PlayStation Direct on January 14th, with participating retailers selling them from February 11th.
PS5 owners with the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red controllers can avail of matching covers from the site on January 21st, with the covers available in retailers from February 18th.
