Speedrunning, for those unaware, involves playing a game at a blistering speed and using any means necessary - glitches, clipping through walls, Warp Zones in 'Super Mario Bros.' - to complete it in the fastest time possible.

Generally speaking, speedrunning is confined to the likes of 'Sonic The Hedgehog', 'Super Mario Bros.', 'Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' and maybe games like 'Street Fighter II Turbo'. However, 'Untitled Goose Game' - the world's first goose simulator game - is now in that list.

French speedrunner Seij managed to complete 'Untitled Goose Game' in a honkingly fast 3 minutes and 5 seconds, completing the game's sole task - grabbing a bell and returning it to a hole near the start - with incredible precision.

Of course, some might argue that goes against the purpose of the game - to be a horrible goose - but hey, this is gaming in 2019 and you can do pretty much whatever you want, stream it on YouTube or Twitch, and people will eat it up no matter what.

'Untitled Goose Game' was released on Nintendo Switch this weekend and we'll have a review once we get done trying to steal the gardener's rake and putting it in the lake.

In the meantime, here's Seij's speedrun.
