A fusion of theatre, music and dance, Woman Undone is a reimagining of singer Mary Coughlan’s extraordinary life and her difficult childhood. It tells the story of a young woman who endured abuse, addiction and mental illness; and whose discovery of art and music was her redemption.
The performance features an all female cast including Mary Coughlan herself, four exceptional actor/singers and dancer Erin O’Reilly, who brings a unique physical presence to the stage. The original score by Valgeir Sigurdsson fuses electronic music with live instrumentation and a haunting vocal score.
