All I Know Is That There Were Rumours...
That Lady GaGa is being sued in the region of €3.5million for diddling Japanese earthquake survivors out of charity money... The Sun reports: "The Poker Face singer, 25, has been selling We Pray For Japan wristbands for £3.10 plus £2.49 for shipping and 37p for taxes. But she allegedly ripped off fans by not giving all proceeds to the victims of the March catastrophe. A law firm based in Detroit, Michigan, has filed a suit against the singer - real name Stefani Germanotta - hours before she headlined a gig in aid of Japan at the weekend. Lawyers at 1-800-LAW-FIRM claim she inflated the costs of the wristbands and took the extra cash. They also say the singer refused to say how much of the £5.96 charged for the accessory actually goes to the victims"... That Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland were too busy attending the BET Awards to join Beyonce onstage last night... Just as well Tricky was about so... That, speaking of awkward moments, the Black Entertainment Awards weren't without their fair share... TMZ reports: "Some "lucky" BET viewers were chosen to present the viewer's choice award at the show last night but there was a HUGE mistake... because someone put the wrong name on the teleprompter. So the lucky fan read the winner as 'Chris Brown' (yep, he's got the BBC across his crotch)... but quickly recanted and said, 'I'm sorry, the winner is Rihanna.' But that wasn't the case either. Despite the fact that Rihanna's name appeared on the video screen as the winner one of the presenters chimed in for a THIRD time and announced Drake as the winner!!! Drake then appeared on stage to collect his trophy. Drake gave a short speech and described the whole thing as awkward. Understatement. After the awards, a BET rep announced that Brown was the correct winner - and chalked the whole thing up to a 'human error' on the part of BET producers"... I too am confused... That, on the two year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, Dr Conrad Murray was filmed dancing to Sister Sledge's We Are Family at a wedding...
