"Welcome to The White Lotus in Sicily!"

It may only literally be four seconds of footage, but the series' return has already confirmed that this will be one of our must-see TV productions of the year.

'The White Lotus' season two has been teased in a new HBO promo, which also confirms the return of yet another character from that memorable Hawaiian getaway.

The whodunnit/dark comedy began shooting season two in March, with Jennifer Coolidge's fan-favourite Tanya McQuoid believed to be the only character to make it past the first season. However, as we can see in the brief video below, she's got someone else alongside her for her Sicilian getaway.

Take a look at the video below, which also showcases some other heavy-hitters that are arriving later this year, including 'Game of Thrones' prequel series 'House of the Dragon'.

Doesn't she look so cute on her Vespa? In case you missed it, Jon Gries' character Greg, Tanya's love interest in season one, will be joining her on her romantic getaway. The pair are seen taking a little ride around the Mediterranean island.

The brief teaser also showcases some of the new cast joining 'The White Lotus' season two, including Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Will Sharpe, Sabrina Impacciatore and Meghann Fahy. Not features, but also joining the cast are Tom Hollander, Haley Lu Richardson, F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Michael Imperioli and Leo Woodall.

The first season received 20 Emmy Award nominations last week, with pretty much all of the main cast members (Jennifer Coolidge, Sydney Sweeney, Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Steve Zahn and Natasha Rothwell) receiving a nomination. The cast have expressed interest in returning again should a third season happen, or their own spin-off, should creator Mike White weave another intricate and captivating season.
