The show returns this January.
So it goes every year, the end of the year sees the announcement of 'Dancing With The Stars' contests and the first up this time around is former 'Xposé' host Glenda Gilson.
As per the official press release, Gilson said that she's "always been a big fan of the show but now that I'm here and I’m in costume, I'm ready to rock."
"I’m kind of a little bit scared to be honest with you; I'm not a dancer, so this is totally out of my comfort zone, I’ve never danced before. But I’ve loved watching the show on TV so I'm really thrilled to be part of it."
Gilson will join several more celebrity contestants, another batch of which will be announced on the Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio One on Monday morning. Gilson was previously the host of 'Xposé' on Virgin Media One / TV3, before it was cancelled after 12 years on air in early October of this year.
'Dancing With The Stars' will be hosted by Nicky Byrne and Jennifer Zamparelli, and will kick off on RTÉ One on Sunday, January 5th and run until March 22nd, with the first two weeks seeing all contestants safe from elimination.
