The bird has the final word
Comic Relief aired on RTÉ last weekend to a big reception. Many especially loved the throwback to The Den with Dustin the Turkey, Zig and Zag, and Ray D'Arcy. Others were less happy about the slot.
At one point in the show, Niall Horan gave a performance but his song "Black and White" was cut short by Dustin and The Den gang.
Ireland's most famous turkey quipped: "We wanted Harry Styles! You're only getting a minute-and-a-half! I didn't realise people from Mullingar had teeth!"
That was so disrespectful n he doesn't deserve that

Many took to Twitter to say it was very disrespectful of RTÉ, viewing the clip out of context of the sketch being for Comic Relief. A lot of the fans are also presumably Americans who are unfamiliar with The Den's tongue-in-cheek format.
Now Dustin the Turkey has spoken out about the incident, tweeting: "Lads...... I'm a lover* not a fighter...."
He added that he loves Niall Horan, Americans and "The Craic". He concluded with the hashtag #BeKind and added this cheeky asterisk note.
Lads......
I’m a lover* not a fighter....
I 💚 @NiallOfficial
I 💚 Americans
I 💚 The Craic #BeKind

The Comic Relief broadcast also included a 'Normal People'-'Fleabag' crossover which viewers loved.
