The 'Wrecking Ball' star denies cheating during her relationship with the actor

They had been married for less than a year when news of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's split was revealed earlier this month.

Since then, the Australian actor has released a brief statement on Instagram wishing the pop star all the best, but Cyrus has been silent on the matter - until now.

With footage and photos of her partying in Italy with Kaitlynn Carter just days after the split was revealed, the 'Wrecking Ball' star took to Twitter to dispel rumours of her cheating.

She also owned up to multiple transgressions in her younger years, but said that she was committed to Hemsworth during their on-off relationship that spanned a decade.

"I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating," she said. "Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will."
