This is Bono's first time back since 2015.
As has become tradition, Bono, The Edge, Glen Hansard and a number of singers appeared on Grafton Street to help raise money for charity by busking, this year raising money for homeless charities like the Dublin Simon Community and Inner City Helping Homeless.
A crowd began to gather outside the Gaiety from 4PM this evening, with younger buskers playing while the stage was being set up. At around 6.30PM, Bono appeared to a heaving audience and began his set with 'Love Is Bigger', from their latest album, 'Songs of Experience'.
Glen Hansard was also on hand for a couple of tunes, as has been the singer's tradition for several years now. Damien Rice also arrived for a song or two, as well as Mundy and Roisin O.
