Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special. BBC1: 6.15pm
It's mince pies at the ready as Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly present a special Christmas spectacular, with six brand new celebrities taking up the ballroom challenge on a festive-themed dance floor. Actress Sheila Hancock, comedian Katy Brand, JB from JLS, Blue Peter's Helen Skelton, comedy performer Bobby Ball and retired footballer Fabrice Muamba all rock around the Strictly dance floor hoping to take home the Christmas Strictly trophy. Viewers' favourites Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant add a little extra yuletide sparkle with guest appearances, before the studio audience votes to decide which of the novice hoofers becomes champion. A slightly less glamorous festive instalment of Call The Midwife follows at 7.30pm.
