Given Parkinson is one of those institutions that will seemingly go on forever and ever (and ever), here he is kicking off his new 'Masterclass' show (which is like 'Parkinson', but with more talented guests) with the aid of Jamie Cullum. After making his television debut on Parkinson in 2003, singer-songwriter Cullum has gone on to win BBC Radio 2 Artist of the Year honours at the BBC Jazz Awards, a Ronnie Scott's Jazz Award and receive a Grammy nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for writing and performing the title track of Clint Eastwood's 2008 film Gran Torino.
