Crochet needles and fuzzy felt at the ready? Tonight, Kirstie Allsopp and her team help Shaun and Jannine Cartwright and their three sons transform their Blackburn home, which is full of clutter. They look to the 1950s for inspiration, creating a family playroom, including a bespoke chaise canopy for the children's toys, and a romantic bedroom where mum and dad can relax. As well as shopping for authentic pieces, such as a vintage sideboard, they also demonstrate how to upholster the dining room chairs.
