Children in Need 2012. BBC1: 7.30pm

Terry Wogan, Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton return to present another bumper evening of fund-raising fun, which sees a massive line-up of stars singing, dancing or acting plain daft in support of disadvantaged children across the UK. During the course of the evening (it runs until 1.30am) expect One direction; a special Doctor Who episode made especially for Children in Need; Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant dancing; Girls Aloud; Olympic and Paralympic stars doing their own music video; Little Mix; music by Paloma Faith and Tim Minchin; and oodles more. Can it better last year's on-the-night record of £26,332,334?
