Since its beginnings as a one day festival back in 2004, Electric Picnic has quickly risen up the festival ladder to become Ireland's favourite boutique arts and music festival. Set among the rolling lawns of Stradbally Hall and its 600 acres of grass and woodlands in Co. Laois, the Picnic always draws a crowd, not only with its eclectic and wide ranging selection of music, but also with its fantastic choice non-music related distractions, including the best comedy tent this side of the midlands. The Bacardi B Live Arena and the ever popular Body & Soul chillout village return in 2009 along with drag show THISISPOPBABY and Lucent Dossier's Water Show, giving you plenty of excuses to get out of that campsite and have yourself a craic packed weekend.
