'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' is a love letter to the Star Wars saga, with a bit of flab around the edges.
For the first time, all 9 'Star Wars' movies are available to play in one package and the game has an incredible amount of content and variety to show for it.
Despite all the bells and whistles being added, there is an extra flabbiness to this version of 'Lego Star Wars' that wasn't present before.
The game's open-world environments seem like a good fit for the 'Star Wars' universe in theory, but it seems at odds with the tighter, more refined games from the PS2 era.
However, there is an absurd amount of fan service in the game to make up for any shortcomings, and being able to play through 'The Last Jedi' is a welcome addition.
