Earlier this year, we reported the news that remnants of from Windmill Lane - the iconic Dublin studio where U2 recorded several of their albums - were being sold off online for charity.
Now, it has been revealed that the charity responsible for the preservation of the colourful graffiti-spattered wall was men's health charity The Movemeber Foundation.
Rather than selling off small portions of the site, as was originally thought, they were granted permission to preserve sections of the wall by the redevelopers, and have five huge chunks of the wall up for sale. They are each the size of a Georgian door frame and weigh approx. 1 tonne each - so you won't be storing it in your bedroom, in other words.
The Movember Foundation have had the sections estimated at €150,000 by Whyte's Auctioneers - that's €20 - 30k each - and while it's certainly a steep price for any collector, remember it's going to a very good cause.
