Laurie Anderson played to an unusual audience the other night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but not necessarily one you might expect.

The widow of Lou Reed is a known dog-lover and has a documentary called 'Heart of a Dog' debuting on Netflix next month - which examines her life after the death of Reed, her mother and her beloved dog.

She played a song from the soundtrack on Colbert's show to a canine audience.
