One group that agrees with us is girl band Liir, who you might remember as entrants to represent Ireland at Eurovision 2015.
They didn't get the call, but Leanne Moore, Michele McGrath and Kim Hayden have kept plugging away and have recently been indulging in covers, including one of Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit.
This time, however, they've turned Ms. Spears' 2004 hit into an altogether moody number.
