Now that Electric Picnic has sold out, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into if someone offers you a ticket for sale.
Electric Picnic has been shouting from the rooftops ever since selling out this year's festival more than a month in advance of the doors opening and, as is always the case, those nefarious ticket touts have got their grubby paws all over this in an attempt to make a quick buck.
Various online resources are offering tickets for up to double their asking their price but those willing to take this gamble should be aware that there are potentially swathes of counterfeit tickets in circulation.
A Ticketmaster spokesman said today: "With any sold-out concert, there's going to be a big demand there but there's nothing we can do with a ticket that hasn't been bought from an official source like Ticketmaster."
"We warn people that under no circumstances should they buy them from an unofficial source as there's nothing we can do if they show up with bogus tickets."
Be vigilant, folks. You don't want to be that guy.
