Two new names have been added to the support bill for The Stone Roses at Marlay Park this summer.

Ian Brown and co. will play their first outdoor gig in Dublin since 2012 on July 9th, and supporting them will be an act that always goes down well with Irish music fans: Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela. Incidentally, Rod y Gab will also support the Roses at their just-announced gig in New York's Madison Square Garden in June.

What's more, Derry's own SOAK, aka Bridie Monds-Watson - who clocked up Mercury Music Prize and Choice Music Prize nominations for her debut album - will also play at Marlay Park.

It's an unusual bill for the Mancunian indie icons to top, but nevertheless, tickets are still on sale from usual outlets now.
