Miley Cyrus will be the person to induct Joan Jett and the Blackhearts into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame later this month.
Jett is one of several acts who'll be inducted at a ceremony in Cleveland on April 18th, and the pop star will do the honours.
The decision has been criticised by fans of Jett, who deem Cyrus unworthy to lick the rock legend's boots - but CEO of the Hall of Fame Greg Harris pointed out that the two musicians were well-acquainted and have even performed together in the past, as the below video demonstrates:
Other inductees include The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Bill Withers, the "5" Royales and Ringo Starr, who will be inducted by his former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney.
Performers at the ceremony will include the likes of Dave Grohl, who'll play some of Jett's hits with Tommy James (of The Shondells), while country star Zac Brown and rocker Tom Morello will play songs by The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
