The old trout of rock'n'roll is back bothering music fans the world over with more of his deadpan, New Yorkisms and honest, 'real' music. 'Rock Minuet' is Reed at his most self-loathing; patricide, drugs, gay sex, parental sex, prostitution and mutilation all get a look in. Unfortunately though, Ecstasy shows little of what made Reed what he is today. Whether its age, money or boredom, something has lost the Velvet Underground's grumpiest member his touch.
