Given its reportedly floundering ratings this year, it would be quite a coup for X Factor to nab Adele as one of their special guests on the final of this year's show.
Each year, a star duets with one of the finalists and past guests have included Beyoncé, Michael Bublé and Rihanna.
The good news for producers is that Adele is open to the possibility of duetting with a contestant, with one condition: they can't be terrible.
The star made the comments in an interview with KISS FM yesterday, saying: "It would have to depend on who’s in the final. It depends who’s in it. If they’re rubbish, then no, I won’t.”
She went on to say that past finalists that she would have duetted with included Ella Henderson - but she was pregnant at the time.
