The line-up for the one-day BD festival - formerly known as the Barn Dance Festival - has been announced.

The BYOB event has taken place on Good Friday for the last eight years, and this year has been rebranded as the BD Festival.

It's happening in the grounds of Glendalough House in Annamoe, County Wicklow on Friday, April 3rd.

The line-up sees a DJ set by Leftfield (aka Neil Barnes), sets by Benoit & Sergio, Omar S and Ben Sims.

For the indie fan, there are bands including Mundy, The Hot Sprockets and The Eskies on the bill, alongside '90s tribute act Smash Hits and 10-piece ska band Interskalactic.

There will be several stages/areas at this year's event, including the Whelan’s Main Stage, Together Disco, Abstract Dance Arena and the Subject Forest Stage.

More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, but tickets are on sale now. They're €60 plus booking fee and available from www.bdfestival.ie now.

If you're wondering how the hell to get to Glendalough, buses will run from Dublin's Custom House Quay every thirty minutes from 3pm on the day and cost €10. Return buses must be booked in advance, or upon entry.
