There has been plenty of speculation about Katy Perry's upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance - most significantly about who she might bring on stage as a special guest.

The rumours were laid to rest this weekend after it was announced that Lenny Kravitz will join the pop star at the mega-gig.

The Superbowl takes place on February 1st at the University of Phoenix stadium in Arizona.

Previous collaborative performances have included Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith and Britney Spears and of course, Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in the infamous 'nipplegate' incident.
